3M™ E-A-Rsoft™ Yellow Neon Blasts™ Earplugs (311-1252) seal the ear canal with soft, slow-recovery foam to help reduce noise and improve comfort. An orange-red flame and orange cord add some fun to serious hearing protection.

Product Overview

When inserting the earplug into the ear canal, the slow-recovery foam helps make insertion easier, giving the wearer time to get the compressed foam cylinder (rolled down earplug) into the ear before the foam fully expands. High visibility neon yellow coloring makes these earplugs easy to see and verify compliance. This product is EARfit testable to help validate the level of protection the individual user is getting.

*U.S. EPA specifies the NRR as the measure of hearing protector noise reduction. However, 3M makes no warranties as to the suitability of the NRR for this purpose. 3M strongly recommends personal fit testing of hearing protectors. Research suggests that users may receive less noise reduction than indicated by the attenuation label value(s) on the packaging due to variation in fit, fitting skill, and motivation of the user. Refer to applicable regulations or guidance on how to adjust attenuation label values. It is recommended that the NRR be reduced by 50% to better estimate typical protection.
